The Shop Fox Oscillating Edge Sander features a 6in/ x 89in. belt that oscillates 1/4in. vertically at 52 times per minute! It also has a quick-release belt tension lever, graphite-coated platen that tilts 0°–90°, and a 2 HP, 240V motor. The W1730 has a 26 7/8in. x 12in. precision-ground cast-iron main table for edge sanding and a 10in. x 11 1/2in. cast-iron auxiliary table for spindle sanding. Three non-oscillating spindle sanding drums, measuring 1 1/2in., 2in., and 3in. in diameter are included for sanding smaller contoured surfaces. Other features include a 180° adjustable miter gauge, two 4in. dust ports, powder-coated finish, and a removable fence.
